I have a pet otter, who couldn’t be odder

For Otto the otter just doesn’t like water.

Otto is bothered by even the offer

Of a bath in some water as surely he’d holler.

Odder, in fact, is that Otto drinks water,

But won’t take a bath. No, not for a dollar.

I turn on the faucet, the water gets hotter

As Otto the otter gets smaller and smaller.
